Car air conditioning systems are a necessity, not a luxury, in South Florida. During normal vehicle operation, the engine and exterior contributors like the road and sun create a substantial amount of heat. Your vehicle’s AC system works hard to cool, purify, and circulate air to provide a comfortable driving environment.

Treating a problem with your air conditioning system early can help prevent major repairs. Symptoms that your AC may be faulty include:

  • an inoperative fan or blower
  • an unusual amount of noise during regular operation
  • stale smelling air
  • and, of course, reduced cooling capability

Wheels help support the weight of a vehicle and serve as a connection between the entire tire-wheel assembly and a vehicle’s axle. Wheels may be made from steel, aluminum, or alloy. Parts on a wheel include the rim, center bore, outboard face, and spokes.
If your tires are worn or unsatisfactory, consider purchasing and installing new ones through us. When tires are worn, they won’t perform correctly. Worn tires heat up more quickly, puncture more easily, and take on roads less effectively.

Oil lubricates the working components inside the engine while reducing friction between them. It also cools the engine as it circulates through it. Oil absorbs harmful debris and contaminants created during the combustion process, then directs them to the oil filter, which traps them, resulting in clean, free-flowing oil. Together, the oil and oil filter keep the engine operating at optimal levels of performance.

Motor oil

During an oil change, we replace the engine’s old oil with new and replace the oil filter. We also lubricate the chassis components of the vehicle according to the manufacturer’s standards.

A fully functioning brake system is crucial to your safety, the safety of your passengers, and the safety of other drivers on the road.

Over time, friction and heat wear down the brake shoes, brake pads, calipers, brake rotors, and other braking components. Our staff is trained in maintaining and servicing front and rear brake systems and components including pads, shoes, parking brakes, rotors, drums and hydraulics.

While components of each brake system may vary, the warning signs of a potential brake issue are the same:

  • brakes make unusual squealing or grinding noise
  • vehicle pulls to one side when braking
  • brake pedal presses down too easily
  • vehicle’s electronic diagnostic system triggers light on the dashboard to indicate service is needed

Suspecting computer issues, or possibly an electrical problem? We can locate the problem, help you understand the issue, and make the necessary repairs to correct it.

The electrical systems in your vehicle route power and information to other integral systems. The electrical systems contain wiring, fuses, circuit breakers and relays. Loose or broken wiring, poor pin fits,

and broken connectors or switches can cause a breakdown.

If you experience trouble with your electrical systems, make a note of how often this problem occurs and how long it persists. The more information you are able to provide, the quicker we will be able to recreate the same conditions, and hone in on the exact problem.

The steering and suspension system maintains comfortable riding conditions and driving performance while helping drivers remain in control of their vehicles. Suspension system components, like coil springs and shock absorbers help to dampen the impact of the force caused by the proverbial bumps in the road.
Signs of a potential steering system issue include shaky, unsteady, off-center or stiff steering. Signs to have the suspension system inspected:

  • excessive bouncing or swaying during bumps
  • intermittent control while driving and braking
  • uneven tire wear

Poor gas mileage and performance? Your vehicle may be in need of a tune up. Call today and we will help you get the most out of your vehicle by keeping it in optimum running condition.

Consult your owner’s manual for recommended service intervals, and contact us when your engine is ready for a tune-up.

During a tune-up, our staff checks:

  • spark plugs, which ignite the gasoline and air mixture fueling the engine
  • spark plug wires, which transfer voltage created by the spark plug
  • the condition of the fuel filters, which limit debris reaching the engine
  • air filter, which prevents debris from entering the combustion engine

Not sure what you vehicle needs are? Call us today and speak with one of our service advisers to help you understand what your vehicle’s manufacture recommended services consist of or what your vehicle may need based on your driving characteristics, vehicle age and mileage. Regularly servicing your car will prevent major auto repairs and save you money.
Car maintenance intervals have been designed to improve the reliability, durability, and resale value of your vehicle. Driving conditions can affect your vehicle’s performance, including driving short commutes, experiencing stop-and-go traffic, hot or cold weather, and dusty or salty environments. Adhering to a rigid service schedule can keep your vehicle operating at maximum efficiency for years to come.
The transmission links a vehicle’s engine and wheels. It keeps engine output matched with speed and load conditions. Because engines operate at high rotational speeds, the transmission reduces engine output speed and transmits torque through the differential, driveshaft and wheels. As engine speed varies, the transmission switches between the gears that influence the amount of torque applied to the wheels.
Signs of possible transmission trouble:

  • grinding gears
  • difficulty shifting
  • slipping out of gear
  • bucking
  • hesitation
  • excessive noise (even in neutral)
  • burning smell through the air vents
  • a dragging clutch, or a clutch failing to disengage from the flywheel
